Eduvie looked outside the window of her 2 bedroom flat and wondered how she would get money to complete the cooking before her husband arrived. She had just picked her 1st son from school and he was doing his homework,her 2nd child a girl was playing by herself, happy that her brother was finally home.Just then she heard a car come into the house,she checked and it was her neighbour-Pamela who was back from work as a teacher with her kids to take care of other chores that she had . She had always envied Pamela and her kids anytime she saw the whole family going out in the morning.
The flat felt like a big hole as she decided to cook the food anyhow,she and her kids would eat it but her husband wouldn't,he never seemed to care about eating at home anyway. She thought of how her life had been before she met her husband. She wondered how she would move on,and the fact that she didn't even complete her secondary school,brought tears to her eyes. Right there she made up her mind that her daughter was never going to end up like her. 
This is what happens in the life of a housewife,its only a small percentage of women that are house wives.These days there is no lady who wants to just be home doing nothing. You should be able to multi task as so many people put it.As soon as one is aware that nothing moves except with money, one knows that its time to lay all at the table to bring in some cash.There are so many things to do,it doesn't have to be an office. Even if one is from a wealthy home or you married a wealthy man-you still have to make a name for yourself. Staying at home and playing the housewife has never helped anyone and it will never will,trust me. Do it for yourself ,so your kids can also be proud and emulate you.

    Its very essential,I've had friends whose mothers are housewives n trust me most of them are not happy at all.

 With a lot of people trying to lose weight in Nigeria,the question I want to ask is what is the best food to eat to lose weight.  We are blessed with a lot of starchy foods-rice,yam,cocoyam,irish potatoes,:let's face it ,we even eat it everyday,in parties,with friends,we even add it to soups. Its not like the soups are fat free. Infact some families I know of always eat soup with garri(prepared from cassava) at least once everyday. With this culture,we need to know what best to eat. The only party I attended that the caterers prepared beans ,was talked about for months for being weird. Loosing weight seems like an expensive venture, with the way and manner we eat. The answer is as simple as yes or no depending on the setting and the if the management is mostly male or female . I have worked for both male and female bosses, both see work, priorities and life differently.Some male bosses act like a female boss would.
