Buy me gifts not fill my stomach.

When I was in school.anytime a guy wanted to impress a girl,he usually first took her to fast food:before he would think of giving her gifts,this was because my college was not among those found in cities. Infact,for a guy to give quality gifts, the girl was indeed special.
These days things are a lot different; with most ladies looking to stay and remain slim,no one wants to go and eat first,the only time,you see such is in Nigerian films.Most want the expensive gifts first,then the food can come in later.
So my question people is this?
1. Is it wrong for a guy to take a lady out to eat?
2. What if the guy doesn't have enough money for the gifts,do you dump him?

    He should make an efforts to buy the gifts but that doesn't mean if he doesn't i wld dump him

    What if he does not buy you gifts initially or he bought the wrong gifts,would you be happy?

 With a lot of people trying to lose weight in Nigeria,the question I want to ask is what is the best food to eat to lose weight.  We are blessed with a lot of starchy foods-rice,yam,cocoyam,irish potatoes,:let's face it ,we even eat it everyday,in parties,with friends,we even add it to soups. Its not like the soups are fat free. Infact some families I know of always eat soup with garri(prepared from cassava) at least once everyday. With this culture,we need to know what best to eat.
